Caring for a loved one at home is often very stressful and time consuming. It's important for caregivers also to remember to take care of themselves. In order to meet this need, Brooke Grove Retirement Village offers respite care as one of its services in both the assisted living and skilled care settings.

Respite stays give families the opportunity to refresh themselves by going on vacation or simply taking a break from the challenges of caregiving.

Respite care is also helpful in preparing for a return home after hospitalization or rehabilitation.

LIFE^® TRANSITIONS SHORT-STAY PROGRAM

Our LIFE^® Transitions Short-Stay Program is designed to ease your return home from a hospital or rehabilitation stay by offering physical, occupational and speech therapies in an assisted living setting. It may also be an option following a visit to the emergency room, particularly after an observation stay. Your room rate will be discounted during your stay of seven to 30 days.

If you don’t qualify for Medicare inpatient rehabilitation, this program offers the support you need to reach your recovery goals. You’ll enjoy a private, fully-furnished room at The Meadows or The Woods assisted living, with 24-hour nursing and personal care staffing and access to our outdoor gardens, walking paths and 220-acre campus of lush pastures and rural woodland beauty.

Brooke Grove Foundation, Inc. provides meaningful access to individuals with limited English proficiency (LEP). This includes qualified interpreters, written translations, and oral interpretation.
